Code now ships faster than anyone can review it. That includes the software the web depends on, where one flaw can end up in everything built on top of it. There is more to find than people have time to look for.
Today we're launching the Enclave Research Fellowship. If you're an independent security researcher with published CVEs, you can apply for $1,000 every month to use for research on Enclave. We publish what you find, and you get the credit.
What changed
AI agents now read and test code around the clock, and a single researcher can point them at far more software than one person could cover alone. The limit used to be the hours a person could put in. It is now how much compute you can aim at the problem.
The same capability works for the person defending the code and the person attacking it, so there is less time before someone else finds what was missed.
Why we're launching a research fellowship
Critical software gets less scrutiny than it needs. Looking takes time, curiosity, and the freedom to keep going after the first answer is "nothing here." Independent researchers bring the skill and the judgment, and we fund the research.
Each fellow gets a login to Enclave and $1,000 every month to use for research on Enclave. Fellows use Enclave, our fleet of autonomous security agents, to research critical software and find vulnerabilities. That is the whole offer, and it is built for independent researchers.
Disclose first, publish after 90 days, send feedback every month
Findings go through proper disclosure. The vendor hears first and gets the full 90 day window to ship a fix. Once the window closes, the fellow gives us the research and we publish it on our blog with the technical detail and the CVE, credited to the fellow. Fellows provide the content, meaning the story of how they did the research, their approach, and a proof of concept, so the research makes the internet safer for everyone.
A 90 day window means a fellow cannot hand us finished research every month. So every month, fellows send us product feedback on Enclave instead. It is how we keep improving Enclave while the research waits for its turn to be published.
Who should apply
The fellowship is for researchers with proven work. You need at least three published CVEs to apply, and the application asks for a link to each. Space is limited to 10 researchers, and our research team reviews every submission before we finalize the program.
How to apply
Apply at https://enclave.ai/research-fellowship . The form asks for your name, your email, and a link to each of your three published CVEs. Your X handle, and anything else you want to add, are optional. You will hear from us within two weeks.
We're starting with 10 researchers. If you have the research to show for it, apply.
