Social Media Manager

Ship the editorial calendar, drive real-time engagement, and make Enclave a credible voice in the AppSec and AI security conversation.

SF / NYC

The Role

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to own and execute Enclave's social strategy across multiple platforms, with primary focus on X, Reddit, and LinkedIn.

You'll build our social engine from the ground up. Craft the editorial calendar, grow our community, amplify founder voices, and turn Enclave into a credible presence in the AppSec and AI security conversation. You'll work directly with founders and collaborate with product and research to translate complex security concepts into compelling, shareable content. This is a 0-to-1 role where you'll drive market awareness, spike engagement, and build community.

What You'll Do

  • Own and execute full social strategy. Build the editorial calendar, content themes, and posting rhythm across X, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, and any additional platforms that make sense. Make the call on which platforms deserve investment and which don't.

  • Build the social engine. Design repeatable content formats, workflows with design, review processes, and feedback loops. Create a system with AI that ships consistently without becoming a bottleneck.

  • Drive community and engagement. Monitor conversations on X, Reddit, and LinkedIn. Spot trends. Tap the team for real-time replies. Build relationships with security researchers, AppSec practitioners, and AI folks who care about this space. Make Enclave feel like part of the conversation, take the lead where it fits or simply chime in when needed.

  • Listen and feed back. Run social listening as an intelligence function. Surface what customers, prospects, competitors, and the broader security community are saying. Feed trends, misconceptions, and customer pain back to the team.

  • Measure and iterate. Define what success looks like. Track metrics that map to pipeline, brand consideration, and community growth. Ship, measure, adjust. Kill what isn't working. Do more of what moves the needle.

  • Craft and execute founder brands. Partner with founders to develop their personal brands on X and LinkedIn. Help them ship POVs they actually want to share. Turn their daily work into content the category notices.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years managing social, content, or community at B2B software, AI, developer tools, or security companies. You've built engagement that matters. You know how to spot real conversations vs. noise. You've grown organic programs from small to significant.

  • Portfolio showing viral growth, high engagement, and community building. Show us posts that moved something. Threads that sparked real conversation. Evidence of community you've built. We want to see the actual work, not just metrics.

  • You can do anything. Write posts, edit videos, brief designers, manage the calendar, work with founders, collaborate across teams. You're a builder with taste who can write copy, edit video, and tell a founder their draft needs work—all in one day.

  • More into AI than security? Not a problem. You follow AI research, model releases, and reasoning model advancements. You understand security as a domain but you're not coming from pure AppSec background. You learn fast and can pick up security concepts from context.

Optional

  • Track record on X, Reddit, and LinkedIn specifically. Show us where you've built engagement on these platforms. Not required, but it's a plus if you've already been in these communities.

  • You attend things and share them. You go to conferences and meetups. You tweet about what you learn. You can parse hallway conversations and surface what matters. Experience running social listening is a bonus.
